How do I prepare a vacant home or office for cleaning?
A vacant home, rental, or office needs a few things in place on cleaning day:
- Parking: Please provide a parking spot closest to the home or office.
- Water: Please provide access to an active water spigot.
- Electricity: Please make sure that the electricity is on (especially in vacant residences, offices, etc.) so that we can see exactly what we are cleaning. If it's dark in the residence or office, we cannot see to guarantee we've tackled all the areas of concern.

How do you price move-in and move-out cleaning?
Before any cleaning starts, we inspect the carpet, upholstery, and tile & grout to be cleaned. Along with inspection, we will measure the area to be cleaned and provide you with the price to properly clean it.

Move-in and move-out cleaning covers the carpet, upholstery, and tile & grout in the home, rental, or office — professional textile cleaning, not full house cleaning.
- Carpet: Pre-inspection, pre-vacuum, spot and stain pre-treatment, counter-rotating brush (CRB) agitation, and truck-mounted hot water extraction.
- Upholstery: Fabric assessment, brushing and vacuuming, stain pre-treatment, and upholstery-safe hot water extraction.
- Tile & Grout: Pre-treatment, truck-mounted steam extraction, a detailing pass along edges and grout lines, and optional grout sealing.

After The Cleaning
How long does carpet take to dry after a move-out cleaning?
Plan on keeping foot traffic off the cleaned carpets for at least 6–12 hours, ideally up to 24 hours (especially in winter). If the carpet is old, thick, has heavy padding, or if you had heavy soiling, drink stains, or pets, drying may take longer.
Ventilation helps a lot: open windows (if weather allows and not while raining), run fans, ceiling fans, or HVAC (AC in summer, heat in winter) to promote airflow and speed drying.
