Before We Arrive

How to prepare for your carpet, upholstery or tile & grout cleaning

A little preparation before your appointment helps us give you the deepest, most thorough clean possible. Here’s how to get your home or office ready before our technician arrives — and if anything on this list is a problem, just call or text us and we’ll work it out together.

Your pre-appointment checklist

  1. Parking

Please provide a parking spot closest to the home or office. Our truck-mounted equipment stays in the van, so the closer we can park, the better we can clean.

  2. Water Access

Please provide access to an active water spigot.

  3. Electricity On

Please make sure that the electricity is on (especially in vacant residences, offices, etc.) so that we can see exactly what we are cleaning. If it's dark in the residence or office, we cannot see to guarantee we've tackled all the areas of concern.

  4. Pick Up Loose Items

Please make sure that any loose or fragile items are picked up — toys, knick-knacks, shoes, etc.

  5. One Outlet Per Area

Please allow for at least one outlet per area to be utilized during the carpet or upholstery cleaning process.

  6. Furniture & Access

You do not have to remove all furniture from an area unless you'd like the whole area cleaned — but please don't block our access to those areas.

  7. Heavy Furniture

We don't move heavy furniture like beds, china cabinets, etc. Please speak with us prior to your cleaning so we can discuss how you'd like to handle those items.

  8. Pets

We love animals, but they don't love our loud machine — and we must be able to keep the door open while cleaning. We ask that you please arrange for them to be in a safe, quiet space. If they are friendly, we are happy to meet them prior to starting the clean, and then they can be put away. The last thing we want is for your precious fur baby to run away.

  9. Questions?

Please make sure to call or text us if you have any questions prior to your cleaning, or speak with our technician when we arrive.
